Severe blaze rips through derelict haulage premises in Brierley Hill

Firefighters have been called to a severe blaze at a former haulage premises in Brierley Hill.[1] A total of 18 firefighters were called to the scene in Moor Street at about 1.25pm today, April 4.
Fire crews are using a hose reel jet to tackle the blaze which is on the first floor of the two-storey derelict building. The building was formerly known as Brian Hill Haulage.
A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service[2] said: "At 1.25pm we were called to reports of a fire in a property on Moor Street, Brierley Hill. Crews from Brierley Hill, Stourbridge and Haden Cross are in attendance.
"The incident involves a severe fire on the first floor of a two-storey derelict premises, formally known as Brian Hill Haulage. Crews in breathing apparatus are using a hose reel jet to tackle the blaze.
"Good progress is being made." A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service[4] said it was not called to the scene.
