Shop window smashed by man arguing on his phone

Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police[1] are asking members of the public for help in identifying a man in connection[2] with an incident that resulted in the window of a Newquay[3] shop being smashed[4].

Police state that on March 17, a man was seen arguing on his phone when he hit the window of Clarissa Nails on Beach Parade.

A display graphic was broken, as well as the window itself being smashed, officers confirmed. The total cost of the damage is estimated to be in excess of £1,300.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police[5] said: "Officers are investigating the incident and would like to identify the man pictured as they believe he may be able to assist with enquiries.

"If you recognise him or have any information to assist with the investigation please contact police via our website here[6] or by calling 101, quoting crime reference 50230068044."
