Truck slams into Atlanta wig studio after driver suffers medical …

ATLANTA — Clean-up is underway after a truck slammed into a wig studio in Piedmont Heights.

It happened early Tuesday morning at the Mayz Mane Studio on Piedmont Avenue.

Channel 2′s Audrey Washington spoke with the owner of the studio who said the shop has only been open for three months.

The entire front of the store is gone, with broken glass, busted walls, and wigs everywhere.

According to the owner, an elderly woman driving a Chevrolet truck was having a medical emergency behind the wheel and lost control.

What the owner plans to do to get her business back up and running and whether the driver will face any charges, on Channel 2 Action News starting at 4 p.m.
