Urgent appeal for girl, 12, who went missing from Croydon in the …

An urgent appeal has been launched for the whereabouts of a missing 12-year-old girl.

Shania went missing from Croydon[1] in the middle of the night, just before 3am on Sunday (April 23). She was last seen wearing a black crop top, a jean jacket, and red and white trainers.

Her hair is a mx of blonde and ginger.

Croydon police tweeted out an appeal, asking that if you can help, please call 101 quoting 23MIS013229 .

Meanwhile, Saturday saw a teenager rushed to hospital after being impaled on a sharp iron fence in Hyde Park in a sickening accident. The girl had reportedly been spending time with friends in the park when the incident happened.

A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of an incident in Hyde Park[3] near Bayswater Road.

“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene. We treated a teenager at the scene before taking them to a major trauma centre.”

A London Fire Brigade[4] spokesperson said: “Firefighters were called to assist emergency service colleagues with an incident on Broad Walk in Kensington yesterday (Saturday, April 22).

“Crews used cutting equipment to release a female. She was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews. The Brigade was called at 1937 and the incident was over for firefighters by 2039.

“Fire engines from Kensington and Chelsea fire stations and a fire rescue unit from Paddington Fire Station attended the scene.”
