Virgin Media internet down AGAIN as provider sees ‘repeat of earlier …

Virgin Media is down once again after thousand of users reported problems connecting to the internet this morning (April 4). The outage started just after 1am, according to Downdetector, and a huge number of complaints were made from 6.30am as people tried to log on.

But the company later announced it was seeing similar issues this evening. More than 55,000 reports of Virgin Media being down were made just after 5pm today – more than this morning, Downdetector said.

Virgin Media tweeted at 5.25pm saying: “Unfortunately we have seen a repeat of an earlier issue which is causing intermittent broadband connectivity problems for some Virgin Media customers. We apologise again to those impacted, our teams are continuing to work flat out to find the root cause of the problem and fix it.”

One angry customer tweeted in reply: “I have no internet, you have no direct debit simples !!” Another said: “It’s horrendous. There’s almost no connection at all”

Another added: “For the amount you charge and your increasing rates, you need to fix this and fast. No excuse.”
