A41 shut as police called to crash between truck and car

Police were forced to shut a key Cheshire road for around five hours following a crash between a truck and a car. And officers say following the collision the wagon left the A41 and ended up in a ditch.

Cheshire Police[1] were called to Whitchurch Road through Hatton Heath at around 4.50pm yesterday (May 14). A spokesman said: "Officers were called to reports of a collision on the A41, Hatton Heath. Police attended and found there had been a collision between a HGV and a car.

"The HGV came off the road as a result of the collision, although there were no reports of any serious injuries."

The road was back open at 10pm.
