After a woman died from a suspected overdose, two individuals panicked and moved her body to a grassy area in Battle Creek, according to police.

The two individuals, Kevon Handy and Jamal Bradley, appeared in court Friday for arraignment.

Moped driver hit by vehicle on I-94 near Sprinkle Road, taken to hospital

A pedestrian riding a moped on I-94 was hit by another vehicle near Sprinkle Road in the construction zone around 11:48 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.

A pick-up truck crashed into about 20 headstones, damaging them at St. Mary’s Cemetery Saturday around 2:15 a.m.

The driver was driving southbound on Orland Road when they lost control, and ran off the roadway into the cemetery, Michigan State Police. troopers said. The pick-up truck overturned and landed on its side.
