Delays expected onM60 and M60s roads after collision and lorry fire

Transport for Greater Manchester has reported there will be delays on the ring road between Simister Island and Worsley, Junctions 15 and 18, due to a vehicle being on fire. 

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes where possible.

The crash has taken place on the side of the road going anti-clockwise.

Elsewhere National Highways North West has reported a collision on the M602.

Two of three lanes are closed in a westbound direction between Junction One and Two in Eccles.

Delays of 30 minutes are expected.

Updates: The M60 still has one lane closed.

The M602 has now been cleared.
