Drivers warned of delays after motorway crash between lorry and pick-up truck

TRAFFIC has been stopped on a motorway after a crash between a lorry and a pick-up truck.
The crash this morning has stopped traffic on the M62 eastbound within junction 28 at Tingley. The entry slip road to the affected junction has now re-opened following the collision, after it was closed earlier.
Update – The M62 eastbound is now fully open within J28 #Tingley[1] following an earlier collision. The entry slip road has also been reopened.

The emergency services are at the scene of the crash.
It has led to nine miles of congestion during the morning rush hour, causing 90 minute-long delays for motorists.
National Highways: Yorkshire[4] tweeted: “Update – There are delays of 90 mins above normal travel time on the #M62 eastbound within J28 #Tingley following a collision between a lorry and a pickup truck.
“More information here: nationalhighways.co.uk/travel-updates. There are 10 miles of congestion on approach.”
