Live M25 updates as crash near Wisley interchange causes hour delay for Surrey commuters

Two lanes of the M25 have been closed in Surrey following a crash between a car and a skip lorry. “Queuing traffic” has been reported on the motorway travelling anticlockwise towards the Wisley interchange with congestion stretching back to junction 13.
Delays of an hour have been caused by the incident, which was reported on traffic and travel[1] service Inrix shortly before 7am on Thursday (May 18.) It is not known at this stage if anyone has been hurt in the incident.
“Severe delays and queueing traffic due to earlier accident on M25[2] anticlockwise before J10 A3 (Wisley Interchange). Congestion to J13 Staines, adding to queues back past the M3. Also heavy via Chertsey, Weybridge and Byfleet. Travel time is 60 minutes.”
