M62 junction 28 crash today live as motorway blocked with miles of queues
The M62 is blocked this morning after a crash between a lorry and a pick-up truck.
All traffic has been stopped on the eastbound carriageway at Junction 28 (Tingley) while emergency services deal with the incident. National Highways Yorkshire said there are four miles of congestion on approach and at least 30 minute delays.
National Highways said: “Traffic has been stopped on the #M62 eastbound within J28 #Tingley due to a collision between a lorry and a pickup truck. Emergency services and Traffic Officers are on scene.
“There are 4 miles of congestion on approach causing 30 min delays above normal travel time.” Inrix estimates congestion is going back to Junction 24 (Ainley Top).
