Man ‘stole’ elderly lady’s handbag in Hereford Morrisons supermarket
A man reportedly stole an elderly lady’s handbag at a supermarket in Hereford[1]. West Mercia Police have released an image of a man they would like to identify in connection to the alleged theft.
It is said to have taken place in the Morrisons store in Station Approach at around midday on May 4. Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone with relevant information on what happened.
West Mercia Police[2] said in a public appeal: “Police are looking to identify the pictured male who was believed to be involved in the theft of an elderly lady’s handbag in Hereford.
“The offence occurred at roughly midday on May 4 2023 in the Morrisons supermarket in Station Approach.
“If you recognise this male and are able to make an identification, please contact PC Jenny Rees quoting crime number 22/42184/23 on 101 with any information or report online here[4].”
