A man is in the hospital Monday night after being hit by a car in Durham.
According to Durham police, officers responded to a car crash shortly after 9 p.m. on Fayetteville Street near East Cornwallis Road.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been hit by the vehicle. The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The southbound lanes of Fayetteville Street are closed between East Cornwallis Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway while officers investigate.
