Motorcyclist critically injured crashing into retaining wall

KENT COUNTY, MI – A motorcyclist was critically injured Monday, May 29, after crashing into a brick retaining wall, Wyoming police said.

The motorcyclist, a 50-year-old Wyoming man, was found unconscious after the 7:45 p.m. crash at Buchanan Avenue SW near 39th Street.

The motorcyclist was taken to an area hospital after suffering serious injuries. Initial investigation showed he lost control of his motorcycle and struck the retaining wall.

The victim’s name has not been released. Wyoming police continue to investigate, police said.
