An Isle of Wight High Street has been reopened (Thursday) after a four-vehicle crash closed the main road earlier this afternoon.

Police were called at 12.59pm to the High Street in Godshill following reports of a road traffic collision.

Paramedics and fire crews were also in attendance.

The crash involved a white Nissan van, a red Toyota, a silver Ford and a black Peugeot 4x4 on the sharp corner near The Model Village.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said minor injuries have been reported, following the collision.

Godshill High Street has since reopened in both directions.

All Southern Vectis buses diverted due to the closure have since returned to their usual routes.
