A35 blocked after lorry and car crash causes diesel spillage

Part of the A35 is blocked after the large diesel spillage.

The A35 in Dorset is reportedly blocked westbound between the A3066, Bridport, and the A3052 Charmouth.

Dorset Police are in attendance and contractors will be assisting with clear-up works.

Expect delays in the area.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 2.30 pm to report of a collision involving a lorry and a car on Main Street in Chideock.

“The road is currently blocked and recovery has been requested for the car.

“Oil has been reported on the road.”
