Huge M5 queues as lorry crashes off motorway into ditch

There are reports of heavy traffic on the M5 in Devon^[1] after a lorry crash. The latest update from the police has confirmed that a lorry has crashed off the carriageway into a ditch.

According to roads traffic and monitoring service, Inrix, there is queueing traffic on the southbound carriageway southbound between J27 A361 to J28 A373 Honiton Road.

Inrix reports: "Queueing traffic due to accident and restrictions on M5 Southbound from J27 A361 (Tiverton) to J28 A373 Honiton Road (Cullompton / Service Area)."

Devon and Cornwall Police^[2] have issued an update.
