Long delays and six-mile queues after van and motorbike crash on M62 near Brighouse – live updates
All traffic has been stopped due to a serious crash on M62 near Brighouse.[1][2]
West Yorkshire Police[3] have closed the M62 Eastbound near Brighouse. following a serious crash involving a van and a motorbike. The crash happened between J24 A629 (Ainley Top) and J25 A644 Wakefield Road (Brighouse).
There is long delays on approach following the crash. It is not clear at this time how the crash was caused or if anyone has been seriously hurt.
Our travel partner, INRIX, said: “Long delays, all traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to accident, a van and a motorbike involved on M62 Eastbound between J24 A629 (Ainley Top) and J25 A644 Wakefield Road (Brighouse).Traffic has been stopped for the crash in lane three (of there).”
