M25 crash at Wisley caused delays for motorists during rush hour
Two lanes of the M25 were shut in Surrey on Thursday (June 1) after a lorry and a car were involved in a crash near the Wisley Interchange. The incident happened on the anticlockwise carriageway at around 9.50am with congestion stretching back to junction 12 of the M3.
Onlookers are also causing further delays clockwise, with traffic stretching back past the Cobham[1] services. It is not known at this stage if anyone has been hurt in this incident.
Traffic and travel service Inrix reports: “ Very slow traffic due to earlier accident on M25[2] anticlockwise before J10 A3 (Wisley Interchange). Congestion to J12 M3, and onlookers clockwise back past Cobham Services. All lanes have been re-opened. Lanes one and two (of four) have now re-opened.”
