Man in ‘critical condition’ after Warboys A141 crash with Cambridgeshire Police calling for witnesses to come forward
A man in his 50s is in a “critical condition” following a crash near Warboys yesterday, (June 29). Cambridgeshire[1] Police were called to the A141 following reports of a collision between a white Vauxhall Movano van and a cream Suzuki Vitara at around 5am.
Officers arrived at the scene and found the driver of the car with “serious injuries”. He was rushed to hospital, and a spokesperson for the force confirmed, 24 hours on, medics are still working to save him.
A man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and has been released on bail until September 1. Police are investigating the incident and have launched an appeal for witnesses, or anyone in the vicinity with dashcam footage, to come forward.
A Cambridge Police spokesperson said: “Officers are appealing for witnesses after a collision near Warboys yesterday morning left a man critically ill in hospital. The collision, which involved a white Vauxhall Movano van and cream Suzuki Vitara, took place at about 5am on the A141.
“Emergency services attended the scene and a man in his 50s who was driving the Suzuki was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He remains in a critical condition.”
They continued: ” A 45-year-old man from New Malden, Greater London, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has been released on bail until September 1
