Man in his 70s dies after Norfolk crash earlier this month
Man in his 70s has died after a Norfolk crash earlier this month. Norfolk Constabulary officers were called to the A1122 Downham Road in Crimplesham, near the junction with Willow Heath Road, at 3.52pm on Friday, June 9.
It came after reports a red Hyundai car had been involved in a collision with a silver VW Caddy van. The driver of the Hyundai – a man aged in his 70s – was seriously injured and flown by air ambulance to Addenbrookes.
The force has confirmed today (June 26) that he died last Thursday (June 22). The driver of the VW Caddy was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn with minor injuries.
