Man turns himself in for deadly hit-and-run in Rochester
ROCHESTER, NH (WGME) — A New Hampshire man told police he panicked and drove away after hitting a woman with his truck in Rochester, according to Foster’s Daily Democrat.
According to Foster’s Daily Democrat, 43-year-old Christopher Robinson, of Milton, New Hampshire turned himself in to police on June 8.
He says he was driving his Ford F-150 on Milton Rd. on June 2 when he “saw the back of a person and then it was over, and I freaked out.”
Police say 60-year-old Kim Lucier was pushing an unoccupied baby stroller when she was hit. She died in the hospital three days later.
Robinson is charged conduct after an accident for having left the scene of an accident that resulted in death or personal injury, according to police.
Police say Robinson has been released on a $5,000 bail and will be arraigned on July 13.
