A popular coastal route will be visited by mobile speed cameras in the coming week. A speed trap will be set up on the B1242, a main road into Hornsea.

It is one of a number of roads due to be visited by enforcement officers in the next seven days. They will include rural routes at Driffield, Skidby, Snaith and near Langtoft.

Safer Roads Humber and Humberside Police enforce mobile speed cameras around the region to help crack down on speeding motorists. The B1249 near Driffield is due to be a particular focus this week.

Drivers can see where the mobile cameras are likely to be situated through the daily enforcement schedule on the Safer Roads Humber website. However, not all locations are listed on the schedule, so motorists should take care and exercise caution when driving in the region.
