Park Ridge police: Man arrested for domestic battery, interfering with reporting it

The following items were taken from Park Ridge Police bulletins. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

Disorderly conduct

A complainant walking her dog at Centennial Park passed an unknown subject who made an insulting gesture that alarmed the complainant May 26, police said.

William Schoenberg, 56, of the 1300 block of Prairie Avenue, Des Plaines, was arrested June 2 for vaping indoors on the 0-100 block of Prospect Avenue, police said.

Damage to city property

Kimberly Lesniak, 43, of the 7200 block of Thorndale Avneue, Chicago, was arrested May 31 for damaging city property at the intersection of Talcott Avenue and Dee Road, police said.

Domestic violence

Jason Cuello, 42, of the 1700 block of West Touhy Avenue, Park Ridge, was arrested May 31 for domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence at his residence, police said.

Traffic violations

Douglas McGlothlin, 63, of the 2700 block of M140, Niles, Mich., was arrested June 1 at the intersection of Oakton Street and Busse Highway for driving without a valid driver’s license and failing to reduce speed, police said.

Cuong Quach, 66, of the 3600 block of North Shore Avenue, Lincolnwood, was arrested June 1 at his residence for leaving the scene of an accident, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper use of traffic lanes and failure to notify an unattended vehicle of an accident, police said.

Richard Wendorf, 34, of the 6800 block of Northwest Highway, Chicago, was arrested on the 0-100 block of Prospect Avenue for improper use of traffic lanes and driving under the influence of alcohol June 2, police said.

Muharrem Kaya, 26, of the 2700 block of North Lawndale Avenue, Chicago, was arrested June 4 for driving without a driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and using expired registration at the intersection of Dee and Higgins Road, police said.

Theft

Two unknown women took two bags of items from the Walgreens on the 800 block of Devon Avenue without paying May 28, police said.

An orange Trek bicycle was taken from the 300 block of Busse Highway May 28, police said.

An unknown subject took items from a work truck parked on the 1400 block of Greendale Avenue May 30, police said.

An unknown subject took a red Trek bicycle from the 400 block of Busse Highway May 31, police said.
