Police issue appeal after fatal collision on A13

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A13 yesterday. 

Officers were called to the A13, near Grays around 1:40pm on Monday, 26 June following reports of a collision involving three lorries and a van. 

The driver of the van sadly died at the scene. His family are aware and receiving support from specialist officers. 

The collision occurred on the A13 London bound between the A126 Onslip and the Mardyke junction. Two lanes of the road remain closed due to Highways England repairs. 

We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision or have any further information to get in contact.
