Teen in critical condition after being hit by lorry on A66 at Penrith
Officers investigating a serious collision on the A66 at Penrith are appealing for witnesses.
At 12:41pm yesterday June 14 officers received a report of a collision on the A66 eastbound carriageway between junction 40 of the M6 and Kemplay Bank roundabout.
The collision involved a HGV and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 17-year-old boy from Penrith, was taken to hospital by air ambulance in a critical condition.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or have dash cam footage which may assist the investigation to contact them.
