Truck driver damages Wendy’s drive-thru: Rocky River Police Blotter

On May 22 at 8:35 a.m. a resident reported damage to their swimming pool upon returning from an out-of-town trip. The resident said someone cut the pool cover, used the pool, and left trash in it. Officers are investigating.

Theft, Lake Road
On May 23 at 10:40 a.m. a resident reported the theft of a duffel bag containing clothes, a speaker, and camping gear. The resident said the theft occurred a few days earlier and believes the suspect entered the unlocked car to access the trunk. The loss was valued at several hundred dollars.
Damage, Center Ridge Road
On May 24 at 2:30 p.m. a Wendy’s restaurant employee reported that a truck drove through the lot and damaged the drive-thru overhang and power lines before leaving the area. The employee obtained the license plate on the truck and provided it to officers. Prior to officers completing their report, the driver of the truck returned and accepted responsibility for the damage.
Damage, Wager Road
On May 27 at 10:10 a.m. a resident reported that someone threw a rock through a second floor window of their home. The incident occurred the day before between 6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
