The deputies conducted a pat down for weapons and found a “cake” vape pen on Stewart which contained THC.

Deputies conducted further search of the truck and found a methamphetamine pipe belonging to Stewart and a ‘large amount of mail’ with over 15 different addresses from the area.

Law enforcement believe the mail was stolen from multiple homes off of Chapparal Road, Post Oak Road, Rocky Acres Lane, FM 153, and North Washington Street in LaGrange.

Stewart and Campos were arrested and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center. They face a state felony charge of theft of mail.
