Two killed in car and truck crash in Woodchurch near Ashford

Two people died after a crash involving a car and truck near Ashford[1]. An 18-year-old woman and 21-year-old man were both pronounced dead at the scene in Woodchurch on Monday evening (June 5).

The incident involved a white Vauxhall Corsa which was travelling west on Plurenden Road. It was involved in a collision with a white DAF truck at the junction of Bethersden Road.

Police said the two people who died were the occupants of the car. The crash happened at around 5pm.

Kent Police[3] said in an appeal for information: "The Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage that may assist to come forward. Witnesses should call 01622 798 538 or email [email protected][4] quoting MM/MD/059/23."
