Van driver dies in four-vehicle A13 crash near with lorries near Grays

Officers were called to the location at around 1.40pm yesterday, June 26, following reports of a multi vehicl crash. 

The driver of the van sadly died at the scene.

The collision occurred on the A13 London bound between the A126 Onslip and the Mardyke junction.

Two lanes of the road remain closed[1] due to Highways England repairs.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “The van driver’s family are aware of his death and are receiving support from specialist officers.

“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision or have any further information to get in contact.

“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.”

Witnesses should quote incident 747 of June 26 when providing any information to make sure it gets to the right person as quickly as possible.
