Woman dies in three-vehicle crash with lorry and car in Heath

A woman has died in a three-vehicle collision in a Derbyshire village. Lynn Mellor was driving her Vauxhall Agila when the fatal crash took place in Heath, in North East Derbyshire, just after 1.35pm on Thursday afternoon (June 15).[1]

The 64-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene in Heath Road. The collision also involved a Mercedes HGV and a Peugeot 3008.

The driver of the Peugeot suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. Ms Mellor’s family are aware and are being supported by specialist officers from Derbyshire police.[2]
