A259 motorcyclist seriously injured after falling from his bike in Worthing
A motorcyclist was left with serious injuries after falling from his bike in Worthing. The incident took place on Wednesday evening (July 12) shortly before 9pm.
Officers from Sussex Police were called to the scene at Goring Crossways roundabout on the A259 after the 35-year-old man from Worthing fell from his vehicle. The road was closed whilst the incident was dealt with before reopening at around 11.30pm.
Alongside Sussex Police, a helicopter from the Air Ambulance Kent, Surrey, Sussex (KSS) was sent to the scene. Pictures show a large presence of emergency responders including at least three ambulance vehicles and the local fire service attending the incident.
Sussex Police has since issued an appeal for witnesses. Anyone with relevant information or dashcam footage is urged to come forward.

A statement issued by Sussex Police reads: “Emergency services were called to the Goring crossroads roundabout on the A259 at 8.52pm on Wednesday (July 12). A 35-year-old motorcyclist from Worthing had fallen from his machine and sustained serious injuries.
“The road was closed while the incident was dealt with and reopened around 11.30pm. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam video from the area at the time is asked to report online or call 101 quoting serial 1538 of 12/07.”
