All the police mobile speed camera locations in Leeds this week

Mobile speed cameras have been put in place across Leeds in a bid to reduce road accidents by monitoring speeds.

These cameras are set up by West Yorkshire Police alongside the West Yorkshire Casualty Prevention Partnership in known casualty zones across West Yorkshire, including the city of Leeds. These known casualty zones are considered dangerous and so the cameras are set up to try to keep speeds down, to reduce the chances of any accidents taking place.

They work by using a laser, which is then shone at the vehicles to determine how fast they are going. The speed camera vehicles themselves are not covert and can be seen by the eye.

The following locations are accurate at the time of writing but can be subject to change. Here are the mobile speed camera locations across Leeds.
