Paedophile jailed after repeatedly plying schoolgirl with drugs and sexually assaulting her

A paedophile who plied a schoolgirl with cannabis and repeatedly sexually abused[2] her after meeting on Snapchat has been jailed.
Faisal Khan, 20, met up with the girl ‘nearly every day’ and had an ‘intense sexual relationship’ with her, Manchester Crown Court previously heard.
The pair initially met on Snapchat via one of the girl’s friends. Khan complimented her and told her she was ‘pretty’, before meeting up with her in person and giving her cannabis.
He would tell her to meet him in a nearby park because he was ‘clearly concerned her mum would find out’, prosecutor Ben Lawrence said.
They shared more than 3,000 messages on the social media platform and Khan ‘made her feel special’. He told the schoolgirl that he loved her and they shared kisses and heart emojis on Snapchat. He also provided her with cannabis, alcohol and nitrous oxide balloons.
At one stage he suggested they could spend time in a hotel room together, and said he would ‘f*** her hard’. “He knew full well she was a schoolgirl,” Mr Lawrence said.
Prosecutors said that he would have known she was still at school because she told him about incidents in her education, and even picked her up from school.
In April this year, following a trial at Manchester Crown Court, he was convicted of three counts of having sexual activity with a child and another count of supplying her with cannabis.
Khan, of Milne Street, Oldham, was jailed for four years and ten months. He was also made subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for 10 years, and handed a restraining order, banning him from contacting the girl indefinitely.
He was also placed onto the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely.
Pair who met woman at takeaway after night out plied her with booze before raping her while filming attack

Two men who offered a woman a lift home following a night out[3] plied her with booze before raping her. Abdulrahman Hassan, from Oldham[4], was filmed carrying out the sick attack by accomplice Abu Musa.
A trial at Chester Crown Court[5] heard how the victim had been on a night out with another woman at a club in Nantwich, Cheshire[6]. The pair had been due to go home at around 2am, but missed their lift and decided to stay until closing.
After leaving the club at 3am, they went to a nearby takeaway, where they met Musa and Hassan. The pair offered to give them a lift home to Winsford, Cheshire.
After returning to Winsford, the second woman left and went to bed. Musa, 21, and Hassan, 22, stayed with the victim, who was already intoxicated, and plied her with further alcohol before raping and sexually assaulting her.
The incident, which took place in the early hours of Sunday, June 12 last year, was reported to Cheshire Constabulary. Officers launched an investigation, leading to the arrest of Musa and Hassan.
Following their arrests, officers discovered video footage on Musa’s phone which showed Hassan raping the victim. After being shown the footage Hassan, of Eden Street, Oldham, pleaded guilty to two counts of rape, assault by penetration and voyeurism.
Musa, of Dyke Street, Stoke-on-Trent, admitted voyeurism in relation to filming the video without the victim’s consent but denied raping her. Jurors saw through Musa’s lies though, and following a four-day trial in April he was found guilty of rape and assault by penetration.
Musa was jailed for 13 years and handed a 20-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO). Hassan was sentenced to 12 years and nine months in prison, and given a 20-year SHPO.
The ‘worst flasher in Britain’ has been jailed again after 51-year campaign of offending
(Image: GMP)
A man dubbed Britain’s “worst flasher” has been jailed[7] again after admitting to outraging public decency.
Paul Smith, 65, of no fixed address, had previously racked up 170 offences, over a 51-year period, of exposing himself to members of the public. He first ended up in court in 1972 – at the age of 14 – when he repeatedly flashed his genitals to passers-by.
Over the years, Smith’s offending has seen him jailed for up to six years at a time, alongside court orders and mandatory therapy programmes. One judge labelled Smith a “one man public nuisance” and warned he could die behind bars.
In April last year, Smith was arrested after flashing a stationary bus in Manchester city centre. Two days prior to this he was handed a suspended sentence in Bradford, West Yorkshire, for flashing at lone women and children at bus stops in Halifax.
In the most recent incident, a bus driver spotted Smith gesturing for passengers to look in his direction while waving his genitals around for two minutes on a busy street. Upon being arrested, Smith told police: “I was just running for the bus”.
Smith was jailed for 25 months after admitting to outraging public decency. He will also remain subject to a lifetime Sexual Harm Prevention Order and must sign the Sex Offender Register.
Man jailed after leaving baby with life-changing brain injury after ‘deliberately shaking her’

A man who left a child with life-changing brain injuries after ‘deliberately shaking’[8] her has been jailed. Jack Hunt, 27, made a panicked call, saying the child was ‘unresponsive’.
The girl – who cannot be named for legal reasons – was rushed to hospital, where it was discovered she had suffered traumatic brain injuries.
Dr Sarah Dixon, a consultant paediatrician, concluded the child’s injuries were consistent with ‘abusive head trauma by shaking’, Minshull Street Crown Court previously heard.
Hunt pleaded guilty to section 20 wounding; and causing grievous bodily harm without intent. He denied deliberately shaking the child.
He submitted a basis of plea document to the court, in which he claimed the child had been injured after he threw her in the air and caught her at least twice recklessly. That was rejected by the judge following a trial of issue.
Hunt has now been jailed for 27 months. The girl has made a full physical recovery and is showing ‘good cognitive progress’.
The stranger in the red cap who destroyed a woman’s life

A horrified woman woke to find a stranger raping her[9] in her bed. She went to sleep following a night out, before realising she was being attacked.
The woman woke to find Karl Kablan in her bed. Wearing a distinctive red cap, he raped her before she screamed for help and pushed him away.
Kablan was seen pulling his trousers up as he was chased away from the north Manchester flat by one of the woman’s neighbours.
The 32-year-old denied rape, but was found guilty following a trial at Manchester Crown Court. He was jailed for 10 years.
BMW driver taking mates to a party killed man, 31, after ‘losing control’ and crashing car before fleeing the scene
(Image: Greater Manchester Police)
A BMW driver taking a group of mates to a party took a man’s life[10] and seriously injured another in a horrific car crash. Usher Donson, 27, ‘lost control’ and swerved onto the wrong side of the road before smashing into another car and a van in the morning of November 4 2021.
A trial heard how Donson had left the Bloom bar, on Bloom Street in Manchester, with three people in the rear of the car and another passenger sat in the front. He was driving a silver BMW 320D.
The group were planning on travelling to Bury to attend a party and drove along the M602 and the M60. After leaving the motorway, CCTV footage showed how the vehicle ‘lost control’ and moved to the wrong side of the road before smashing into a Renault Megane and Ford Transit Van on Bury New Road at around 6.05am.
Donson and the front seat passenger then got out of the driver’s door side before running away from the collision scene, leaving the other three passengers in the back. They ran towards a nearby estate, with CCTV footage showing a taxi leaving the area a short time later.
Police said Donson had been ‘evading capture’ and making it ‘extremely difficult’ to be located following the fatal collision, as he ‘moved back and forth between areas in southern England’. He was eventually arrested at a flat in Luton in August 2022.

The three passengers in the back of the car were rushed to Salford Royal Hospital from the scene. Aaron Jarvis, 31, died later that morning. A second passenger suffered a ruptured spleen and bone fractures.
Following a five-day trial at Bolton Crown Court, Donson was found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He was sentenced at Minshull Street Crown Court on Wednesday (June 28) to seven years and six months imprisonment. He was also disqualified from driving for ten years and ordered to pay a victim surcharge.
