Bradford man clocked at 110mph on M62 banned from driving …

Mohammed Hamzah Sabir, 22, of Bailey Wells Avenue, Bradford[1], faced one charge of speeding – exceeding 70mph motorway limit.

He was caught in the act by a speed camera, the court documents read.

The driver hit 110mph in a 70mph zone between junctions 27 and 26 of the M62 westbound on March 26, 2023.

Sabir pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley[2] Magistrates’ Court on June 23, 2023.

He has been disqualified from holding, or obtaining, a driving licence for six months.

The court deemed Sabir’s disqualification necessary due to his repeat offending.

He was also fined £120 and ordered to pay £90 costs and a £48 victim surcharge for the offence.
