DA investigating serious crash in Randolph
Law enforcement officials are investigating a serious crash in Randolph that left behind a trail of damage on Tuesday night.
The crash happened along a heavily traveled and densely populated stretch of Route 28, about two miles south of Interstate 93, after 11 p.m.
Video captured by a Boston 25 photographer showed tire marks in the grass and bark sheered off a tree that was struck by the vehicle that crashed. Investigators were also seen photographing a crumpled sedan and collecting evidence from the roadway.
The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office confirmed that its motor vehicle homicide unit responded to the scene of the wreck.
There was no immediate word on the condition of those involved in the incident.
Troopers assigned to the DA’s office are assisting Randolph police with the investigation.
