Funeral fundraiser for ‘caring’ dad, 35, killed in A50 motorbike crash
A funeral fund has been set up to raise money for the family of a ‘loving husband and caring father’ killed in a motorcycle crash on the A50 in Stoke-on-Trent.
Trucker Jason Wysoczan[1], 35, was confirmed dead at the scene in Longton[2] despite the efforts of a hero off-duty nurse who battled in vain to keep him alive.
Now family friends want to ease the financial stress on Jason’s loved-ones by setting up a GoFundMe[3] page. They have raised £665 towards a £5,000 target in just on day.
Tahir Ali, who has launched the fund-raiser, said: “We come to you today with heavy hearts to share the devastating news of Jason’s untimely passing. Jason, a dedicated truck driver, tragically lost his life in a road accident while riding his motorbike.
“His sudden departure has left his family shattered and burdened with unexpected financial challenges. Jason was not just a skilled driver, but also a loving husband, a caring father, and a dear friend to many.
“His warm smile, compassionate nature, and willingness to help others made a lasting impact on all who knew him. Now, during this difficult time, it is our turn to lend a helping hand to his grieving family.
“We have initiated this fundraising campaign to alleviate the financial strain on Jason’s loved ones. The funds raised will directly support his wife, Sarah, and their young children, in navigating the challenging road ahead. By contributing to this cause, you can assist them in meeting immediate expenses, such as funeral costs, mortgage payments, bills, and everyday living expenses.
“Let us rally together as a compassionate community and honour the memory of Jason by helping his family during this challenging period. Your support will not only ease their financial burdens but also serve as a reminder that they are not alone in their grief.”
Jason, from Biddulph[5], was riding a black Lex Moto motorcycle when he was involved in a single-vehicle collision on July 2. The collision closed the A50 from around 7.30pm. Staffordshire Police believe the biker struck the central reservation before his death.
