Heartbreaking family tributes to Doncaster dad killed in crash as his kids say ‘we love you so, so much’
“We love you so so much daddy,” say the heartbroken children of a Doncaster dad who tragically lost his life in a car crash[1].
Jordan Sheehy, known as Mini, died at the scene of the crash on July 1. The dad to a four-year-old girl and one-year-old boy will be remembered by his family as a “beautiful, cheeky chappy” who had a “heart of gold”.
The mother of Jordan’s children Lisa Hill said her babies wanted to pay tribute to their dad who “has touched so many of our hearts”. Jordan’s little girl Melody-Ann and Hunter-Ray said: “To daddy, we love you so so much, thank you for everything big and small. We love you forever and always. Lots of love Daddy, love your two beautiful babies Melody-Ann And Hunter-Ray xxxxxx.”
Jordan, 26, was in a Vauxhall Mokka on the B6388 High Lane in Ridgeway, Derbyshire, which crashed with a Volkswagen Tiguan just after 1.40pm on Saturday, July 1. His death has shaken the community in Doncaster.
A 30-year-old man has now been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, aggravated vehicle taking, failing to stop after a collision and driving without insurance or the correct licence. He has been remanded in custody.
Jordan’s brothers and sisters have paid tribute to him. Rebecca, Duncan, and Hayley said: “Life just isn’t going to be the same without you, that warm loving smile, your unique fashion sense, your surprise visits at food time, but most of all your love – you had so much to give. You were the baby of the family and you always will be.

Jordan’s older brothers Troy and Damien added: “Baby bro we’re still in shock. We don’t have words to describe how we’re feeling. We just hope when it’s our time you’re there to greet us. Love you, your big bros xx.”
Sister Zara said: “Being by your side from the day you were born has been such a pleasure. I have watched you grow into the most beautiful hearted man. I could never forget you, as a part of me has gone with you.
“I am broken but I know you’re presence will keep me strong. Love you always me ,Ben , kendell , Skye , Brylea, havanna and willow xx.”

Jordan’s mum Michelle said: “My baby boy, you fought so hard to be in this world and continued to fight all your short life. You were stronger than you knew and loved more than you could ever imagine. I know your dad will be with you but make sure you call down for your hair played with.
“I will be waiting son. Love you so much my sweet baby, love mam xxx.” The mum of Jordan’s two children, Lisa Hill added: “Through the good and bad it was always us – an invisible string which always pulled us back together.
“Thank you for our beautiful babies who you live on inside. Love you forever and always Lisa xx.”
The funeral of Jordan Sheehy will take place on July 27 at City Road Cemetery at 11am. Zara said: “If you wish to follow him there we will be meeting at the Earl Marshall Pub, Eastbank Road, at 10am.” Lisa said she expects the service to be “filled with people” as “Jordan was known and loved by so many”.

Lisa and Jordan’s sister Zara have created a GoFundMe page to raise as much money as possible for Jordan’s funeral. Paying tribute on the page, Lisa and Zara added: “Our beautiful Jordan (Mini) has been taken from us all far to soon. This has come to a shock to us all and this is the last thing we ever thought we would be having to go through, this was so unexpected.
“Jordan leaves behind a lot of people who truly care and love him. His mum, his brothers and sisters, his two amazing and precious children. Jordan wasn’t a very serious guy, he was the absolute life and soul of the party, the class clown, but the most loved and adored loveable rogue you will ever have met.
“He was a cheeky chap with a heart of gold and he will have touched so many of your hearts. Hold your memories with you forever, please cherish them because that’s all we have now. He lives on in these two beautiful babies which he adored so very much and his little boy is the double of his daddy – our very own mini Mini.”
