Live A1 updates as road partly closed near Grantham following crash
Part of the A1 in Lincolnshire has been closed following a crash, police say. The road, at the junction of the A52 in Grantham[1], has reportedly been closed between the Grantham north turn off and Barrowby Gate.
The crash, involving a lorry, is affecting traffic on both the A1 and the A52. Traffic monitoring service Inrix has reported that Barrowby Road, one of the main routes into the town, has been closed in both directions.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police[2] said the incident was reported to the force at 12.05pm on July 11. They added that motorists should avoid the area.

According to Google Maps, the closure is badly affecting traffic on and around Barrowby Road.
