Live: A38 reopens after crash as queues building for Bastille’s Devon gig
Heavy congestion has been reported on the A30 and A38 in Devon this evening after two separate incidents. The first incident occurred on the A30 near Cheriton Bishop sometime before 6pm.
The delay is reported to have happened after a vehicle broke down on the westbound carriageway at the Woodleigh Junction.
A second incident, a collision, occurred at approximately 6pm on the A38 near Chudleigh. Reports indicate two cars and a van are involved. The collision is said to have happened near Marsh Lane (Harcombe Cross).
There is also queueing traffic on the A379. Inrix reports: “Queueing traffic due to people arriving at the castle for the concert on A379 in both directions near Powderham Castle.”
