Live as Blyth Road, A634, shut in both directions after crash
The A634 in South Yorkshire is closed in both directions following a crash.
Blyth Road has been shut by South Yorkshire Police (SYP)[1] between Firbeck in Maltby, Rotherham[2], and through to Oldcoates – the main road into the Nottinghamshire area. It is not known at this time how many vehicles are involved.
The road is not suitable for HGVs to turn around, so it is advised they avoid the area. Other drivers should plan alternative routes and expect delays, a spokesperson for SYP said.
In an alert on social media, the force said: “Blyth Road A634 is closed between Firbeck and Oldcotes into the Nottinghamshire area due to a collision. The road is not suitable for HGVs to turn around, so HGVs are asked to avoid the area. Other motorists should plan alternative routes and expect delays.”
