Live updates: A30 closed after van overturns in Devon

A stretch of the A30 was closed in Devon this evening after a van overturned. It happened at West Hill in East Devon at around 7.30pm.

The eastbound side of the dual carriageway is closed as a result. A picture from the scene shows police, paramedics and firefighters all at the scene.

Traffic monitoring website Inrix reports: "A30 Eastbound closed due to overturned van from B3174 (Daisy Mount Cross, West Hill) to B3177/Gosford Road (Feniton)."

The road cleared at around 8.30pm.

Devon and Cornwall Police has been contacted for more information.
