M25 crash involving coach and recovery vehicle caused three miles of queues near M3 – recap

An M25 slip road was blocked in Surrey on Monday (July 31) after a coach and recovery vehicle were involved in a crash. The incident happened on the motorway travelling anticlockwise at junction 12 with traffic of three miles reported at one stage.

The exit links the M25 with another key motorway in the county, the M3. Surrey Police[1] confirmed they had attended the scene, but say no one was hurt in the incident.

“We were made aware of a collision between the drivers of a coach and a recovery vehicle on the slip road coming off the M25 at junction 12 at around 9.48am this morning,” a police spokesperson said.

“No injuries were reported and this incident was passed to Highways England.”
