M6 live as two incidents halt traffic between Bedworth bypass and Corley services
All traffic is being held on the M6 between the Bedworth bypass and Corley services. It has been reported that the M6 Northbound between J3 A444 Bedworth Bypass (Nuneaton / Coventry) and Corley is currently at a standstill.
This is because a lorry has shed its load on the busy stretch of road. The situation is being further compounded by another accident further up the M6, between Junction 2 M69 (Coventry) and J3 A444 Bedworth bypass.
This was a three-vehicle collision – two cars and a van. This has left part of the road obstructed and one lane is currently closed. Both incidents are causing tailbacks on the motorway.
Warwickshire Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the three-car collision at junction 2. It is unclear if the emergency services have been called to the incident at Junction 3.
