Man taken to hospital after crash on M5 near Worcester
A van was involved in a crash, which saw a trailer overturn on the southbound carriageway, near junction six, at about 3.30pm today (Tuesday, July 11).
Three lanes of the motorway were closed for nearly two hours, causing long tailbacks.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to reports of a single vehicle RTC on the southbound M5, near to junction 6, at 3.36pm.
“One ambulance and a Hazardous Area Response Team paramedic attended the scene.
“On arrival we discovered one male patient who was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment.”
