Norfolk Police launch appeal after Hilborough crash leaves driver with life-threatening injuries in Cambridge hospital

Police have launched an appeal after a serious crash which has left a driver in hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The collision occurred at Hilborough yesterday morning between a blue Volkswagen Golf and blue Mercedes Sprinter van[1] at 7.16am, at the junction of Westgate Street and the A1065.

Police, firefighters and ambulance crews attended the scene, and the road was closed for several hours.

The occupant of the car was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge with life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition, while the van driver and passenger were taken to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital with minor injuries.
