Oneseriouslyhurt in three-car crash on I-95 in Greenwich, state police say

Jul. 29—The report states the crash occurred when an Audi A6 driven by the 19-year-old struck the rear of a nearby BMW X3 before colliding with a third car.

Police said the 19-year-old, identified as Christopher Ramirez, of Port Chester, N.Y., suffered serious injuries and was transported to Stamford Hospital. The driver and the sole passenger of the BMW were not injured.

Police said the third vehicle in the crash fled the scene immediately and the driver of the car is unknown. The highway was closed following the incident but has since reopened, police said.

The collision remains under investigation.
