Person in 20s rushed to hospital after being hit by van in Brockworth

A person was taken to hospital after being hit by a van in Brockworth[1] this afternoon (July 12). Emergency services were called to Mill Lane at around 3.10pm.

Gloucestershire Police[2] have since confirmed that a person aged in their 20s was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. Fortunately, their injuries are not believed to be serious.

Gloucestershire Police said: “Emergency services were called to a report of a collision involving a van and a pedestrian which happened on Mill Lane, Brockworth at around 3.10pm today, Wednesday 12 July.

“One person in their 20s was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be serious.”

There were reports on Facebook that delays were building around Mill Lane, including on the A46, following the crash. However, traffic has now cleared.
