Two children injured in serious A10 crash near Buntingford

Two drivers as well as two drivers have been injured following a serious crash on the A10 in Buntingford. The incident occurred at around 3.45pm on Thursday, July 20, on Baldock Road in Buntingford and involved a beige Nissan Micra and a grey Ford Transit Connect van.

The male drivers of both vehicles suffered ‘serious’ injuries and remain in hospital at this time. Two children were also travelling in the Micra at the time of the collision, where one sustained ‘serious’ injuries and the other sustained ‘minor’ injuries.

Herts Police[1] is appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage after the crash in Buntingford[2]. PC Peter Hoddy from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Enquiries are continuing at this time to establish the circumstances around the collision.

“As part of this, we are appealing for witnesses to please come forward. Did you see the vehicles in the area prior to the collision? We’re particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have captured any dash cam footage.

“If you were driving in the area and have one fitted, please review any footage and contact us if you believe you may have captured something to assist enquiries. Thank you.”
