35-Year-Old Man Succumbs to Injuries After A6 Crash
On Thursday 10 August 2023, the Grand Ducal Police confirmed that an individual injured[1] in a rear-end collision on the A6 motorway on Wednesday morning has since passed away.
The passenger of a delivery van suffered serious injuries in a collision with a lorry on the A6 between Capellen and Steinfort on the morning of Wednesday 9 August 2023. The victim, a 35-year-old man residing in France, was taken to hospital by rescue helicopter but succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday afternoon.
The A6 motorway was closed off in the direction of Belgium until shortly after 19:00 on Wednesday to allow for the accident investigation.
